@HarrySymeou Yes, really important point. If a 16 year old, no matter how talented, clearly outshines every other guy, there is something that has gone wrong. We continue to overestimate in the scouting department.

Dowman was our biggest attacking threat. He’s 16 years old. Sure, he’s an incredible talent but what does that say about so many of our senior attacking players? Lots to unpack on tomorrow’s podcast. Not surprised it was difficult, gutted by the performance & outcome though.

@AFCChatz My take: City (example) scout for durability and stress management characteristics. Mental and physical stamina/acuity. We'll say we do that too, but it's clear whatever City does is at a higher level. They always get better as the season goes on. That is in no way an accident.

I’m not spending another penny on this club until we sort this bollocks out. Clearly something fundamentally wrong. Increasingly believe it’s squad management and it’s on Arteta’s head. We get to this stage of the season and the legs go.

@TheBlueMask1964 There flip side of perpetual support and lack of ruthlessness is that it’s clear there’s zero consequence for failure I expect we will meekly fade away in the league and comically drop out of the UCL. And we will run it back next season with largely the same coaches & players
