@KatKanada_TM I grew up in a secular home, knowing only that God existed. I was proud, greedy, and fully focused on myself. Nearly 2 years ago, my life changed. I was diagnosed with brain tumors. I had 2 surgeries, and the surgeons warned me: many people in my situation don’t survive 5 years.

I don't often tell wives what to do or how to act to be GREAT WIVES. There's great female accounts (married women showing receipts) that do that I recommend you follow. @GiaMMacool @MonicaMAlmaguer Are a couple. But I want to share something that my wife did a couple weeks ago that I believe ALL WIVES can learn from. My wife was upstairs helping our eldest daughter with math. I was downstairs playing teenage mutant ninja turtles with my two 5 year old sons. They had both eaten all their dinner & said, "dad we are still hungry can we have some mac-n-cheese?" I'll admit my wife makes 99% of the food. I stay out of the kitchen except to clean up. But, I didn't want to bother her & figured how hard can it be :). Well, I forgot to ADD WATER..... so 2 minutes later the microwave is almost on fire! The Mac-n-cheese is in ashes! My wife & daughter come running downstairs as they smell the smoke. Here's the thing: •I instantly say MY BAD I WAS TRYING TO MAKE THE BOYS MAC-N-CHEESE. I believe 90% of wives would say something unkind here. -You're always messing up...... -Why would you do that..... -You could've burned the house down.... I was already beating myself up though & felt dumb. I was instead met with: -Thanks so much for trying to get the boys food. -It's an easy mistake don't worry. -Don't beat yourself up you were trying to help! Two weeks later she never brought it up once. I've made plenty of mistakes. Everyday I probably do a lot of things great as a husband & a couple things I could do better. My wife always CHOOSES to focus on the good. I extend that same grace to her as well. We all fight enough battles everyday. I love our kids, but they drain me. (They aren't waking up thinking how can I fill dad's cup today!) Work, clients, bills, chores, deadlines, etc....... everyday we all face these. In marriage my wife & I strive to make our home peaceful, be kind to one another even in times we mess up the Mac-n-cheese. Give your spouse some grace. Be kind & show gratitude today. Also, add water before making mac-n-cheese :)

Many Catholics now say “Catholic” just means “universal”. They even claim Protestants are Catholics too since there’s no longer any “protest”. I completely disagree. Catholicism is a man-made, idolatrous religion. I will never accept it. Come home to the Evangelical church!

To all my Jewish and my Torah-keeping Christian brothers and sisters, Happy Passover to you all! May it be a blessed one for you and your family. As a Christian Zionist pastor myself, I believe and strive to live by what is written in God’s perfect Torah and the Book of Ecclesiastes: (1) That there is ONE LAW for both the native-born Israelite and also the foreigner, (2) that the feasts and festivals of God are to be remembered and kept FOREVER, and (3) that it is the duty of ALL MANKIND to fear God and keep His commandments. That is why this will be my 13th Passover that I have personally observed. My first was in 2014. My last will be whatever future year I am called to come home by the Almighty. I don’t celebrate Easter. Easter has nothing to do with my Lord Jesus Christ. Easter is an ancient pagan tradition that has its roots in Babylonian fertility goddess worship. It does not have its roots in THE TRUTH. I choose to celebrate Passover instead. Unlike Easter, Passover is rooted in THE TRUTH and is about my Lord Jesus Christ, as he is the spotless Lamb of God who was slain for the sins of the whole world. His sinless blood covers the houses of all who fear God and keep His commandments, so that Death and Hell will “pass over” you and your family. And just as the Almighty God through His servant Moses brought ancient Israel out from physical bondage to Pharaoh in Egypt, God does the exact same thing in a spiritual sense through His holy servant Jesus. I’m eternally grateful for God’s Torah. I’m eternally grateful for God’s feasts and festivals. And I’m eternally grateful for God through His servant Jesus liberating me out of that “spiritual Egypt”—out from bondage to the devil, to lies, to sin, and to the pitfalls of man-made religion. And everyone who loves God, fears God, and keeps His commandments are ultimately brought into that heavenly PROMISED LAND flowing with the eternal milk and honey of life and salvation.
