The biggest thing that's kept me fit at almost 43 (on 0 TRT, peptides etc) is the MINDSET OF NO ZEROES! Today I met a dear friend & his wife for breakfast & had a ton of dad & work responsibilities. I would have had to wake up at 4am to get to the gym & my son woke me up at 230am :) I used to skip these days & because I skipped the gym EAT WORSE. Consistency over everything! NO ZEROES. I ripped off 12 sets of eccentric pull-ups this being my last.... it was sloppy I know I was cooked :) Few sets of abs in between. I'll do a couple walking client calls & eat sensibly & that's WINNING! Most of us dads aren't trying to be pro athletes we just want to: •Look good. •Have more energy. •Less chance of disease. •More testosterone & confidence. •Our wives to want to initiate s3x with us. Don't put up zeroes & you'll get it!! Have the best day! 💪🤝

Low Testosterone, middle aged dads with noodle arms & beer bellies being sassed around by their wives is the real pandemic. Strong, fearless, bold MEN leading our families & communities is the antidote. Which way western man?!

The deadliest killer isn’t cancer or heart disease. It’s high cortisol. It's the reason why you're depressed, anxious, and your nervous system is in chaos. Here’s the shocking truth about stress—and exactly how to break free (for good):

If this thread felt uncomfortably accurate, don’t file it under “interesting” and go back to white‑knuckling another year. Your nervous system is already telling you the truth. If you want to end chronic stress at the root join the workshop and follow @matthew_labosco

@tyromper This is not so much about "being the boss" and more about becoming the kind of man your family and community naturally trust. p.s. that photo looks great.

I love the mindset, great share. But I will say, I’ll never get less than 5 hours of sleep just to get a workout in. There are huge diminishing returns on a workout if you are sacrificing less than 5 hours of sleep to get it in. And when I say 5 hours, that is like the exception to the strict rule of no less than 6.5 and ideally 7 to be fully functional and sharp and capable of working at a high level. The emotional regulation component is huge and sleep is a leading indicator.

High cortisol shaves 7 years off your life — and most adults are running it. It wrecks deep sleep, ages your skin, fragments memory, and locks belly fat in survival mode. Here are 10 cheat codes to lower cortisol according to science: 1. Strict caffeine cutoff at noon

It’s funny to me Every single time I see someone online telling a stranger what they should or shouldn’t do I already know they live a miserable existence All the women I hang around are hot models; smart, fun to be around, and easy going. Ironically, the most insufferable women online screaming at me “you’re immoral for wearing a bikini” are fat, ugly, and won’t even show their face or real name. Their husbands like JD have to parrot their wives for sake of survival pure Stockholm syndrome. Just goes to show: It’s always the ones telling you how to live who live the worst lives.

What do others say on this topic? JD doesn’t think husbands should allow their wives to compete in bodybuilding, let alone encourage them to, because it’s too sexualizing (my paraphrase of his words in another thread where we are discussing the topic). I disagree. The sport has been a great vehicle in my marriage for my wife to dial in her fitness and knowledge while aiming for a physique I personally enjoy and find attractive, which is a very important component to keeping a marriage healthy. Plus those that have been around the sport understand the dedication and work involved - which are qualities you want in a wife vs laziness. If we are all being honest, we can go to any public pool or beach and see smaller suits on far less attractive women if that is JD’s issue. It’s very normalized, and even more so in physique competitions. -R
JD@NotJamesDiller

Your wives and daughters shouldn’t be “presenting” to the public. We all understand that these kinds of competitions are just covert means of seeking sexual validation, right?

@tyromper Your family is watching to see if you’ll rise or settle. Strength isn’t optional when people depend on you, it’s the baseline. A soft father raises kids who think the world is soft, and then the world breaks them. Get in the gym, get off the screens, and lead.
