They sell it to ANYONE willing to pay. Governments, telemarketers, advertisers, and shady dark web pages pretending to be legit businesses that clearly aren’t. Your data is $$$ to them. Your privacy is for sale.

The end goal of age verification is to normalize ID uploads so it doesn't seem as big of a rights violation when you eventually need to tie-in and register your social media account to your government identity like what is happening in Turkey.

supporters of age verification bills and laws in my country the USA should look at this. The government can decide on a whim what's age appropriate and what's not when it can be perfectly fine and education. Let's not forget the fact not everyone has an ID and age verification

@RepLoriTrahan The courts found the solution: make them lose money when they exploit kids. Age verification (digital ID) laws are what these companies want. You’re giving them the excuse of “it’s the law” when they tell customers to give up personal data — data that will end up in a breach.
