Wie verantwoordelijkheid draagt voor onze veiligheid, heeft de plicht de lessen uit het verleden ter harte te nemen. Die plicht neem ik zeer ernstig. Ik ben bijzonder dankbaar voor de tomeloze inzet en de moed van talloze hulpverleners en veiligheidsdiensten die dag in dag uit paraat staan om onze manier van leven te beschermen.
