I heard something funny the other day with a friend. He told me he doesn't play a story game to understand the story. He said he plays a story game to FEEL like there's a story. He said most of the time it just feels nice to be surrounded by the trappings of story, but doesn't care if it doesn't make sense to him. What do you think? Is this true for you too?

@thomasbrushdev I just played through BioShock recently, and it was rough. The movement didn’t age well. There’s basically no procedural animations at all, and it felt quite static and rigid. I’m spoiled by modern games that feel a lot more satisfying to run around

Got a random question for you, maybe you’ve already done a video on this topic. Will SC ever have story quests for systems that take you across planets, quest chains to build the story and lore for each planet and system? Other mmos like wow, ff14, sw: the old republic did this for every “zone”’or planet and it was basically the main story and primary progression path for every player, not including profession or class quests. You’d arrive in a zone, get a quest from an npc and that would be the main progression arc for that zone.
