Chairman Scarlett was honored to join over 600 public transportation leaders at the APTA Legislative Conference to highlight the Trump administration’s focus on reducing regulatory burdens and accelerating permitting approvals for needed transportation infrastructure.

“With President Trump’s leadership, the Water Reuse Action Plan 2.0 revitalizes successful partnerships and collaboration to accelerate water reuse in the United States,” said Council on Environmental Quality Chairman Katherine Scarlett. “Through this plan, the Trump administration will help provide Americans access to clean and safe drinking water while promoting job growth and innovation.”

This week, Interior announced sweeping reforms to modernize the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Led by @SecretaryBurgum, the Department rescinded more than 80% of its prior NEPA regulations to cut red tape, speed up approvals, and restore NEPA to its intended role.

Exactly one year ago, at the direction of @POTUS, CEQ published its IFR removing its NEPA regulations — a major milestone in permitting reform!
