@VirginiaBuysse We are testing symptomatic children; it’s up to the provider. I don’t think these data are being collected at all.

Is this true? Are hospitals no longer testing patients admitted to the hospital for COVID? Even those with symptoms? Not true in my locale. But maybe elsewhere? The federal government is still requiring that hospitals and states report these data weekly.

@VirginiaBuysse My dad went to the walk-in clinic last week with symptoms of respiratory infection and was not tested for Covid.

@bdk1521 @VirginiaBuysse My husband saw his primary a few days ago. They think he has strep. The quick test was negative but they sent him home on antibiotics for now. Buried deep in the notes on the paperwork they gave him, it recommends a HOME COVID test. 🤯
