I'm always more alert around vehicles with bike carriers. The drivers transport their bikes to "safe" locations and then claim to be cyclists with none of the awareness of those of us who cycle on the road. This driver reversed into me yesterday while we were waiting at red light

Top tip! If you are going to drive your 4 wheeled shitbox down a one way street shaking your head at a cyclist riding towards you, perhaps be sure that they arent in a cycle lane that allows them to ride the street in the opposing direction. That way you wont look such a pleb!

@Chester_Cycling Hopefully they won’t just turn them off, but also put some temporary give way signs at each entrance to the roundabout. Roundabouts seem to confuse many drivers.

The council will be turning off the traffic lights and installing a temporary pedestrian crossing on St Oswald way to monitor effects on traffic and to help pedestrians and cyclists. Driver completely confused by new road markings and traffic signal layout, misses 2 stop lines and stops across the cycle crossing waiting for the strangely positioned 3rd traffic signal in this layout. Why is that additional traffic signal there?

@Chester_Cycling April last year the opposite path was scraped back, and again in Feb this year, shows a clear need for routes like this to be part of a regular schedule of sweeping and maintenance x.com/corrimal7/stat…

Work party yesterday on the cycle path at the side of the Tarvin roundabout. Over the years grass had encroached onto the track, halving its usable width. A couple of hours of hard work it is now back to original size! Thanks to Hannah and Garrett from Streetcare at CWAC

@Chester_Cycling @Sustrans I used to think that was the one they were fixing, but the sandbags are further up by the pond on the opposite side. Left marker is where the sandbags are, your photo appears to be from the right marker?

@sustrans Flooding under the A41 bridge a few days ago. Seems to be a stream coming down from the fields above. Also cannot see sandbags any more. Was this where they were put?

Cyclists be aware: sudden drop in road surface from poor quality utility work. Highways are aware and will hopefully force original contractors to fix asap.

Unfortunately what we have too many of is careless drivers.

@MikeyCycling How does this put pedestrians or other cyclists at risk? such is your Raison d'être for your ongoing campaign of ‘hate’ towards the average motorist?

Isn't it illegal to display blue lights on your car?

@RantyHighwayman here in Chester’s we are losing ASLs when traffic lights are being refurbished. Have we missed some change in the rules? Can you have an ASL without a feeder lane? Grateful if anyone knows the answer
