1/ Seeing this #mtg discussion pretty late, but felt a compulsion to expand on this point:
"Great players ≠ great entertainers."
Absolutely. This is why @BasicMountain & @CedricAPhillips & @YoMTGTaps are/were good, but bringing in these cerebral writer-types rarely works...

4. eSports were NOT supported. Great players are not great entertainers. Instead of shipping people webcams and lighting, they should have been given Improv 101 classes. Frankly, there's not a lot of talent on Magic Twitch. 5. Speaking of, Twitch kind of sucks! Lots of strong...

Thirty years! 🤯 How??
This is the first album that really meant something to me. It had a domino effect that undoubtedly changed the course of my life. It's at the root my friendship with @RKOlogist (through whom I also met my wife).

20 years ago tomorrow—December 24, 2002—I had my first ever #MTG content published, on a site called MTGPlanet. "Goblins! A Look at Goblin Sligh in Type Two" 😄 From a broad view it's nothing special, but I was so proud of it. Still am, I suppose.
