@Zennistrad Not really. Sapkowski began writing the Witcher in 1986, and the books were quite popular even before the games. But if you mean specifically the games, then yes, it is possible.

I think this is really underselling just how HUGE this series was in central Europe. The Witcher games would straight-up not exist without Gothic.

Gothic 1 remake has 57 735 players at the moment. That is, mind you, a remake of rather old, niche and unforgiving RPG from Germany. This remake is made by no name Spanish studio. Like, games from authors of OG Gothic never had such numbers. Just Huh?
