What’re the best onchain ways to get exposure to the tcg mania? I feel like it’s gonna continue for at least a few more months, probably gonna be lots of great opportunities to farm/trade the meta before the music stops

I’ve bought around 100k of cards on chain across a dozen platforms Have been in TCG since 100k Don’t own CARDS but it’s interesting Good tech everywhere to rip gachas too (have only been farming as a user who wants cards, haven’t been power farming anything with heavy losses hoping for airdrop subsidies) I like mnstr, phygitals, beezie, courtyard and more

Lets just assume the entire platform is fully diluted at 320m Current monthly revenue is around 100mil in gacha sales per month, now about 80mil of this is used to buy back cards at circa 90% insured value, the remaining cards are redeemed irl or left on the platform. So its on track to make 10mil this month in profit alone and increasing. Thats 120m profit annualised, what should the platform be valued at then? The team has been doing manual buy backs at much lower prices, but alot of the profit is recycled into new gachas and inventory rather than buying back a token, the goal is to bring hundreds of millions of slabs onchain so it can compete as a market place vs places like ebay and fanatics (so buybacks dont make too much sense compared to just growing the business). Imagine if the variety of cards available is 10% of ebays selection, but instead of paying 13% ebay fees per sale its in the low single digits, its basically an rwa platform disrupting traditional models. The trojan horse is the gacha, but the true end goal is competing with ebay by tokenising assets and charging significantly less fees. Its partnered with comic gachas, so its also expanding its verticals. Credit card spend from irl flows are also going parabolic, some users dont even realise its a crypto platform. Plus i found out recently. Bid.collectorcrypt.com allows you to actually bid on ebay auctions with usdc, this is an insane unlock for overseas buyers not willing to pay import taxes (10% for aus 15% for nz, 15% for europe). They also do concierge for big ticket times on goldin and fanatics upon request. The team is looking at every angle and trying to disrupt the entire industry by using crypto rails. Buy actual cards. unless you can get in on the equity level there is no meaninful way to get exposure beyond two layer speculation. IMO buy: One Piece: Pre Errata 2022 Promo 25th anniversary Winners Promo pokemon: Sealed modern mid vintage (graded) crown zenith pikas / mew fun add on would be sealed hockey for long term. 2024 and 2025 specifically. upper deck hobby boxes. NHL is growing fast in the USA

i had a quick look at your posts but couldn't find these answers, what's the tldr on 1) supply overhanh (320m FDV vs 42m mcap) 2) accurate profit numbers (everyone is talking about revenue, but what's their actual profit?) 3) tokenomics helping the token price (revenue/profit -> buybacks?)

First sane take I’ve seen on this lol Prices will go up short term and then crash when the market gets eventually flooded Illiquid markets are fantastic for number go up cause it’s tough to sell but eventually when people do want to sell and people aren’t buying at whatever the prices are, things are gonna drop fast too and the illiquidity will work against people

Everyone on the timeline is sharing absolute braindead takes about how this means slabs will go up in value due to shortages Umm did you read at all?? The record breaking submissions are so high that they are pausing intake This means they will be grading and shipping record numbers of slabs for the next 10-12 months This also means they will use all their extra time and resources saved by stopping intake on grading & shipping at an even faster rate So the opposite of everyone’s take is actually true, as there will be more slabs hitting the market than ever before
