I spent the past few days in Washington with @hyperliquidpc meeting with policymakers during the historic advancement of the Clarity Act. We discussed Hyperliquid, the benefits that it offers to American consumers, and the regulatory path to bring onchain derivatives markets into the United States. Some conversations were technical with an impressive baseline understanding of Hyperliquid. Discussions included how onchain trading is a financial innovation that has clear global user demand. Other conversations focused more on a first principles introduction to defi and the promise of onchain markets. It was encouraging to see bipartisan support for thoughtful regulation of crypto. I look forward to continuing discussions in DC and working hard to make American access to Hyperliquid a reality.

@DeeZe @punk9059 to me this is kinda like saying: "Real estate is in a bubble right now, like derivatives were a few years ago. But they can both go to zero" it ignores longevity, it ignores the fact that the floor for one established asset is likely much higher than the floor for a new one

It's amazing to hear all the Pokemon > NFT takes on the timeline right now when the only difference is one is hot and the other is 4 years ago. Narrative will always justify price action. Just like it did with NFTs, just like it did with memes, just like it's doing w cards.

it is insane to me that some of these onchain collectible marketplaces haven't been meaningfully upgraded in years now really the only marketplace I enjoy using is @phygitals wish they aggregated the ETH marketplace listings too 🥲

@daniel100eth The mimikyu is my favorite outside of psyduck but yeah cannot justify the prices on it at all Got my psyduck for $800 and then a psa 9 for $900 so that feels a little better

Tough call, I think most currently printed stuff is a sell rather than a buy, but it’s the best charizard card I’ve seen so you can argue either way You could always sell the 10 and buy a 9 or raw card if the 10 premium isn’t worth it to you too I have two ungraded versions of the card but I got them for $550-$600 so I’m holding them
