The U.S. appears to be dropping landmines around Iranian missile cities to catch ballistic missile launch vehicles, with some of the mines falling on nearby towns.

Bellingcat identified the mines found overnight in Kafari, Iran as US BLU-91/B anti-tank mines from the Gator Scatterable Mine System. At least two people were reportedly killed. These mines were deployed over a village near a Iranian missile base.

⚡ Drone Attacks Russian “Shadow Fleet” Tanker off the Coast of Turkey
The oil tanker ELBUS, linked to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet,” was attacked by a drone in the Black Sea off the coast of Turkey, Ortadogu reports.
According to the outlet, the vessel was sailing under the flag of Palau to the Russian port of Novorossiysk to load oil. The attack occurred on January 7 near the city of Kastamonu.
The strike damaged the upper part of the tanker. The vessel is now being towed to the port of Inebolu.

Turkish media outlet Ortadoğu reports that on January 7 the Russian shadow fleet tanker "Elbus" while being 30 miles off the Turkish coast near the Abana district was struck by a drone. The ship was heading to Russian port of Novorossiysk.
