No, that argument isn't fair or precise. Raw totals of anti-Asian hate crime incidents are heavily influenced by group population size—Whites are roughly 5x larger than Blacks nationally—so they naturally produce more absolute numbers even at lower per-person rates. Per capita rates, the standard way to compare offending across demographics, better measure relative involvement or "targeting" propensity. Available FBI and local data (including NYPD analyses) show Black Americans with the highest per capita rate for anti-Asian hate crimes. "Overall crimes" is also the wrong frame; most crime isn't bias-motivated against Asians. Population-adjusted stats give the clearer picture.

He admitted he's at a point where he wants to burn down Asian businesses! Black people are upset because they expected to use Asians as cannon fodder in their war against white supremacy. But Asians have to protect ourselves against black supremacy as much as white supremacy. So no we don't fuck with y'all. We put stores in every communities neighborhoods, and we didn't need black people to accomplish that. And it's only 1 group that threatens to burn our stores down just because we are Asian. And that is the black community.
