@DavidJRappapor1 In the phrase, "I'm going to be honest with you, I was the one who ate the chips," the subject is who ate the chips. The statement of being honest is not the subject, it's meant to bolster the importance of the subject. Same thing in the 2A. I

@DavidJRappapor1 It's been defined, by the usage of the word throughout the English language for the last few hundred years.

@Aida4LA @RothLindberg I think you're mistaken. Policy is that schools are gun free zones, and since policies are the solution, then obviously...
Oh.
Well. That didn't work, did it?

English

@RothLindberg How many children have died in American schools without policy changes or a basic ban on assault weapons being reinstated.

@Shadzey1 @Jbn3ex @Sixty130Racing @FBI @ATFHQ John presents himself as someone who whimpers when he farts and as being in possession of the loneliest penile shaft in the western hemisphere.

Both are felonies and carry up to 10 years in prison

@SandmanMD2 Any time brother. Sometimes just knowing you've got someone in your corner helps. Open offer if you need an ear.

Prayers up for our brother and his family.
Sandman MD@SandmanMD2
If you're a praying person, sure could use some prayers of healing. Not for me, but for someone who means the world to me. My little brother is being airlifted out of my hometown rural hospital to a trauma center for emergency surgery for an aortic dissection.

@_Wraithborne_ @Wrath79324 Hold up.
There has to be tequila and/or rum in there and clandestinely crossing a country's border.
You choose the country.

@HeavilyRecruitd @Wrath79324 Russian. Tibetan are prudes and won't do whatever you ask for the promise of a greencard.
English

@_Wraithborne_ How about a midget with no legs and a ceiling fan with handlebars?
English

@Wrath79324 Throw in a crowbarza midget, and a trampoline, and I think we've got a winning suggestion!
English

@_Wraithborne_ It involves a chicken, clown, donkey and a gynecologist chair….are you sure you want to know?

@OMW2theForum Yep. We have more than enough capability to do it, just not the permission to allow it. You're absolutely right about what an eyesore they are. They should be required to do something to make them more appealing if they're going to force them into our view.
English

Agreed. It's the same problem I have with the performative CA liberals who scream at everyone for not caring about the homeless. Yet every time a measure comes up to build a homeless shelter, if it's within 20 miles of their gated communities they shoot it down.
There's definitely a little more to it, but for the most part you hit the nail on the head.
Mostly why they can't build these structures with more architectural wonder comes down to scale. Turbines generally exceed 500-900' whereas traditional windmills typically top out at under 100'. The turbines would have to have a base around 10x bigger than their windmill counterparts which means less could be installed in a given area. The excessive real estate would also make the turbines an even harder sell to farmers who don't want to lose any more field space than they have to.
But everything else you said is still absolutely true. We're nothing but a vote to politicians and nothing but a cash crop to corporations. I just hate driving through the country and seeing those hideous things breaking up the skyline. We really do need some kind of architectural Renaissance in this country because the concrete brutalism style we landed on 70 years ago is hideous.
Our urban centers would be indistinguishable from Soviet Russia were it not for all the McDonald's billboards lol

@HitGarageDoor @JTFRanchTX A well regulated militia says otherwise! WILD.

Ever heard of this thing called an amendment?
The🐰FOO@PolitiBunny
According to the Virginia State Constitution, it is unconstitutional, which has nothing to do with Texas. You did know that every state has its own constitution, yes?
English

You want the real reason windmills aren't dressed up to make them more visually appealing?
It's the same reason the people pushing them refused to have them built off the coast in their own view.
It's the same reason they forced lock downs on you while having parties.
It's the same reason they made your family die alone in the hospital while having grand ceremonies when one of their own passed.
It's the same reason Dan Francisco is littered with dangerous drug abusers and literal insane people on a daily basis, until a visiting dignitary comes they want to impress, after which they'll return it to its third world squalor.
You don't matter to the people who decide it.
You're tax cattle. You exist to fund their projects, and if you receive anything, it's out of their benevolent whims you have it. And any opportunity they find to remind you of your place, to keep you demoralized and overwhelmed, they'll take to keep you from forcing a change.
It's not that they don't need to look like that for aesthetics. It's that they do need to look like that to enforce the separations of worlds.
English

@abelwithatable @HitGarageDoor What's the third word?
Militia?
So that means only the militia needs to be adjusted by the first two words?
And there's no qualifier to be a member to exercise the right?
So asking to read the first three words was an exercise in making yourself look like a dunce?
Good talk.
English

@HitGarageDoor Read the first three words of the 2nd amendment and get back to me.
