For those unfamiliar with Trump's negotiating style, it's called ragebait-maxxing, and gamers have been doing it in call of duty lobbies since '07. You confuse your enemy by screaming profanities at them through the mic until their Mum eventually comes and turns off their Xbox, or they leave the lobby themselves because you've ruined the game. You win a war not because you are the more rational actor, but because you become so irrational that all third parties in close proximity decide the best strategy is simply to exit the field of battle altogether. You cannot negotiate with unstable main characters - look at Kim Jong Un. No one even bothers with that guy because his facade is 'batshit crazy Rocketman that starves his own people.' Trump is taking a leaf out of that playbook and posturing as the modern Oppenheimer / Kim Jung Un the Second.... Why do you think he mentioned that line today about how Kim called Joe Biden mentally retarded? It was a Freudian slip of sorts... He's been thinking about madman Kim. I want to add 45kg of skeletal muscle. 💪🏻 here is my analysis from yesterday. Any advice? @gregogallagher et al? “Your current stats from the InBody scan show you're in an excellent position: **190.1 lbs** at **9.8% body fat** with **99.2 lbs** of skeletal muscle mass (SMM). This puts you at a very lean, muscular level already—well below 10% BF as you said, with a high proportion of muscle relative to your frame. Your **Dry Lean Mass** (45.6 lbs) aligns roughly with the solid non-water components (proteins, minerals, etc.), while the rest of your lean mass includes body water. ### Clarifying "45kg of skeletal muscle" You mentioned carrying about **45kg** (~99 lbs) of skeletal muscle, which matches the InBody's **99.2 lbs** SMM reading almost exactly. The goal of adding another **45kg** (~99 lbs) would bring your total SMM to roughly **198 lbs**—doubling your current skeletal muscle. **Realistically, this is extremely difficult (bordering on impossible) for a natural lifter**, even over many years. Here's why, based on established models of natural muscle-building potential: - Lifetime natural muscle gain for most men is typically in the range of **40–50 lbs** total (from a beginner starting point), with elite genetics and perfect conditions pushing toward the higher end over 10+ years. You've already built a substantial amount (your current SMM suggests years of solid training), so remaining potential is much lower. - Gains follow **diminishing returns**: Beginners might add 15–25 lbs in year 1, then 8–12 lbs in year 2, dropping to 4–6 lbs, then 1–3 lbs per year as you advance. At your level (lean, high SMM), you're likely intermediate-to-advanced, where yearly gains of even 2–5 lbs of actual new muscle become challenging. - **FFMI** (Fat-Free Mass Index) is a common gauge of muscularity. Your current lean mass (~171–172 lbs after subtracting ~18.6 lbs fat) puts you in a high range already (exact score depends on your height, which isn't shown, but this is elite-natural territory for most heights). Doubling muscle would push FFMI far beyond typical natural ceilings (often cited around 22–25 adjusted for height in contest-lean condition; values much higher usually indicate enhanced athletes). In short: Adding another ~99 lbs of pure skeletal muscle would likely require **pharmaceutical assistance** (steroids or similar) to exceed natural genetic limits, plus decades of perfect training, surplus calories, recovery, and no plateaus/injuries. Even then, many enhanced athletes don't double their SMM from an already-muscular base. ### Your legs specifically (from the segmental analysis) The first image shows clear **underdevelopment in the legs** relative to your upper body/trunk: - **Trunk**: 77.7 lbs (118.5% — well above average/expected). - **Arms**: Left 10.7 lbs (129.7%), Right 10.9 lbs (132.6%) — strong and slightly above expected. - **Legs**: Left 25.9 lbs (113.3%), Right 26.3 lbs (115.0%) — only modestly above expected, and proportionally smaller compared to your impressive trunk/arms. This imbalance is common—many people have genetically stronger upper bodies or prioritize upper-body training, leading to "quads lagging" visuals. The good news: **Yes, you can absolutely add meaningful muscle to your legs** and improve proportions without derailing overall progress. - Legs have high hypertrophy potential because they contain large muscle groups (quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves) that respond well to progressive overload. - Since your legs are currently the "weak link" (lower % on the segmental scan), targeted training can bring them up faster initially due to the **newbie effect** in that area (even if you're advanced overall). - Adding leg mass will contribute to your total SMM goal, but it won't magically allow you to hit +45kg overall. Expect legs to "catch up" noticeably in 6–24 months with focused work, improving aesthetics and strength balance.” !
