@BenjaminSWatson That isn't the correct response to injustice. We shouldn't let injustice occur, right? If people develop a victim mindset that's another story and we should work on that but we should still stop injustice.

I’m all good with pastor salaries being publicly available once we make every congregant’s giving also publicly available 😆

God worked it out, but do you know of some resources for how to fix this? Just join a denomination?

@CWadeBaker @lukedsimmons @Protestia I appreciate Luke and he was a major part of my discovery of Christ centered preaching for which I am very thankful. (I’m sure he has no idea this is the case) But this ecclesiastical structure, which we both learned from the same man, is a train wreck and hotbed for abuse.

@TexasPreacher The Trinity is a philosophical construct not a Biblical one. It's construct from pagan theological philosophy. Jesus wasn't a Trinitarian, and his model of worship Unitarian.

GK Beale on annihilationism- If Jesus suffered the penalty of sin, and if that penalty is annihilation and not eternal suffering, then would not Jesus have been annihilated and thus gone out of existence at the cross? And if this logic be accepted, it involves a Christological heresy: How could the second person of the Trinity have gone out of existence at any point?
