@procs06 @codeaflau The afl ordered 7 not to shake the guitar smash as it might offend some parents of young children

@johnsonleung I meant live.
Paul was gearing up for the big finish, about to smash the guitar then they cut away, and when they cut back it was already done!

WATCH: An Australian woman has become a viral smash hit on social media after single-handedly dismantling the divisive No campaign and leaving its deceptive claims in tatters.

Brilliant.

Do the quiet (sometimes silenced) always polite kids who keep their heads down and just get on with it get included in trauma-informed approaches as they daily experience the trauma of their learning being destroyed by those often earmarked for the most attention, leeway and 'support' within the approach? Or do they get overlooked and disadvantaged by it?

Let’s talk, witches.
Specifically, let’s talk about @AwareSuper.
Because this company sponsor the @AwareTheatre, where Donald Trump Jnr. will (at this stage) speak to an audience of up to 8,000 people on July 9th. And if you’re anything like us, you want to know why such a company would have anything to do with this fucking guy.
Sure, he’s not his dad. But where he wants the world to head is not only abhorrent, it’s not what Australia stands for or will tolerate.
On the surface, you’d think Aware Super would agree with that. Their website talks the big talk about climate change, Indigenous rights and other social justice issues, yet their actions here don’t align with those stated values. Particularly on issues to do with women.
For example, their website talks extensively about all the ways they welcome and help women, and it sounds great:
aware.com.au/womenandsuper
They really look like they’re across issues to do with women’s empowerment and financial security. Here’s a direct quote from their article about the gender pay gap:
“Businesses that implement gender equality measures see improvements in productivity, retention and morale overall. All of which means closing the gap isn’t just about doing the right thing. It’s also about doing right by your business. And that’s something that’s good for everyone.”
Sounds good, right? Sounds like they care A LOT about women’s futures.
But how can we believe they care when they sponsor a venue which will shortly host Trump Jnr? A man who made a #MeToo rape joke in 2019? A man who in 2021, mocked black women after they protested about safeguarding their right to vote? Who (also in 2021) said his father’s history of sexual misconduct “makes him human”? Who said in 2016 that women who can’t handle workplace sexual harassment should become kindergarten teachers? Who openly demeans transgender women? And who in 2017 defended his father when he said “both sides” were responsible for a protest rally where a progressive woman was killed by a white supremacist who drove his car into marchers?
How the FUCK can Aware Super claim any sort of consideration for women when they permit the venue *named after them* to host this kind of execrable bullshit?
We have to fight back, witches.
We have to make them agree Trump Jnr. has no place in their venue. Because Australian women’s superannuation fees are PAYING FOR Trump Jnr’s appearance in July, and Australian women (and all the men who support them) should say NO FUCKING WAY.
Aware Super are an Industry Super Fund who also now control a number of other funds such as VicSuper. Hundreds of thousands of Aussies have funds linked to Aware Super. And Aware Super also have hundreds (perhaps thousands) of staff who are women.
This is NOT FUCKING OKAY.
Please, witches, get involved. Follow and retweet us. Read our pinned tweet and website (in bio) to understand more about what we do and why it works. Most importantly, send an email or DM or make a phone call to Aware Super today, telling them you object to this bullshit. Here are the contact deets:

And for more instructions about how to protest the upcoming Trump talk, please read this tweet we posted yesterday about our new campaign:
x.com/mfwitches/stat…
We’ll re-tweet anyone who gets in touch with Aware Super this week and tweets about it using the hashtag #DumpTrumpAU. Let us know how you go talking to them, and post screenshots of any written replies you get.
Because we’re NOT FUCKING GOING AWAY, and we’re going to hold Aware Super to account.
If Donald Trump Jnr. is coming here to protest the “wokeness” of Australians, let’s show him the most woke fucking wokety-wokeness he’s ever fucking seen.
Are you in?

@Peter_Fitz We decided as a family to not do funerals. Our beautiful Dad was quietly taken away by the funeral place, only option, and cremated with no one in attendance. It still cost $6000+. Absolute rip off.
