Scenario: You find yourself in the Pinehurst area with an unexpectedly free afternoon and time for a single round. Every course has room for a single. Do you play: - the iconic No. 2? - the renovated No. 4? - the new No. 10? - a fun loop or two on the Cradle? Someone asked me this today and it turned out to be a harder question than I expected. So I’m crowdsourcing opinions from you all.

No hate towards any of these players, but this is absolute nightmare fuel for TV executives and Quail Hollow fans. In terms of marketing value, maybe the worst major leaderboard in modern golf history. 🤯 Of course it’s early!

Stonewall Orchard GC in Grayslake, IL is one of the better public facilities in Lake county. Despite a fair amount of morning rain, the course played firm & fast and the greens ran perfectly. Excellent Par-3s, some strong short Par-4s, but not a big fan of several tough Par-5s.

It’s hard to think of a better way to kick off a trip to England’s Golf Coast than what we experienced today at @Hillside_GC. The weather was great, the welcome was warm, the course was in fantastic condition. A bucket list day!

Just wrapping up after an amazing month in Australia. 30 people joined me for two tours of some of the very best courses in the country. We ate well, drank well and played some of the best courses in the world. Amazing hospitality from beginning to end. 1/10
