@GuyPlummer34449 @MaryLowe501 I expected that people would rail against the obvious overreach. They did not, swayed I think by the prospect of “professionals” walking a dozen out of control dogs off the lead being controlled. This whole thing is completely unnecessary

The audience would also be able to see which members are present including when it came to a vote. Eleven didn’t vote yesterday out of the 39 members 🤷‍♀️ at least SEV records on the Parliament website now identify who voted

@Laura_radiogsy @NigelStaples I'm sure the viewing figures are low but I do think the impact of it could be significant. It would change the way that deputies behave in the chamber to some extent (for the better?) & it would be great for a wider audience to see our assembly works (or doesn't)

I'd rather question why so many meetings for what is meant to be a strategic, rather than operational, role. How much CS time is taken up in preparing then recording each meeting?

If you want to know how committed States members are since being elected it’s worth buying ⁦@GuernseyPress⁩ today and read all the articles by ⁦@matt_fallaize⁩ on pages 1,2 &3. Possibly the worst attendance records I’ve seen over the years & they get £49,000+ minimum

Loving the fact that all WC 20-20 matches so far have been competitive. Pak v NL down to the wire. Scots had chances against WI. India given a real scare by USA. As I type NZ are 25 for 2 chasing an Afghan total of 182. Maybe less of a surprise these days. Hope it continues
