This is my home in Kashmir right on the banks of River Jhelum. The place I took my first steps, spoke my first words. Gone since the 1990 Genocide. A Muslim family lives there illegally. I have tried for 2.5 years, submitted all papers to the Govt but every time, local officials say 'No home at that address'. My mother still clutches the old key. Please help. @ShamikaRavi Judges r nt supposed 2 represent people, they are not MLAs & MPs, and Executive. They are those individuals who possess understanding of law, Constitution, and notions of justice. It is only these individuals who should become Judge, not on the basis of male/female identity.

The plot of the film is to show the islamophobia in western society against Muslims post 9/11. But this idea of making a film didn’t come up from the countries which were part of it like any western country /ME/Afghanistan’s film industry, instead it came out from the 🇮🇳 Bollywood & SRK took the onus to represent this.
He built his fame on a majority Hindu audience and then used that platform to whitewash a narrative that has nothing to do with India or Indian Muslims... That’s propaganda

Just to be clear, Holi is a very regionally specific North Indian festival. Celebrate it but don't make it about 'British Hindus', still less 'British Indians.'

The Mughals came and settled in the subcontinent, married local women, and by Aurangzeb's time they were half-Rajput by blood. They invested everything they had in India, that's why you have buildings like the Taj Mahal and Red Fort etc. They wore Indian clothes, died in India, and are even buried there.
Priyanka should stick to making flop movies. History and politics are not her forte.

@NJ_Timothy Actually no, the fact that they are engaging in public demonstration of their rituals highlights nothing but just that, a public celebration. Something which people of all religions do, and is understandable. Urban space belongs to these practicing Muslims as well.

Too many are too polite to say this.
But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination.
The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination.
Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions.
And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals.
I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook.
Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation.
Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration.
It was an act of domination and therefore division.
It shouldn’t happen again.

Noticed how the state where they think they will win easily (Assam) or are not in fight at all (Keralam) has been given just 15 days.
While states that are tough for them have been allotted more than a month just to let them get a decent shot at winning.
