Tomorrow, the @Conservatives will appoint a new leader. Regardless of political affiliation, we must recognise @RishiSunak’s dedication & commitment to public service. From saving thousands of jobs with furlough to steadying the economy amid inflation & post-Truss mini-budget challenges, he served with decency & integrity, leading through deeply challenging times for party & country. I hope history will treat him kindly.

Very dignified & gracious exit by Rishi Sunak, a good man who gave it his best but inherited an impossible hospital pass from his train-wreck predecessors Boris/Truss. Things might have been very different for the Tories if he’d been PM from 2019.

@MariaBaird13 I’ll be voting for the current government. Starmer can’t answer a single question and I still can’t get over Farages 350m to the NHS brexit blunder. I don’t think Sunak has been PM for long enough to see what positive changes can be made after Truss, Covid and the Ukraine War.

Please tell the truth is anyone going to vote LABOUR and why would you. Is this where I lose loads of followers?
