Agree? Ordained ministers - especially Presbyterians - should be able to sight read the Gospel of John in Greek with few helps.

We have a young couple who is fixing to join our church and they came to us via Paul Washer videos on Youtube. Realized they were becoming Reformed out of a free will Baptist background, googled "Reformed church near me" and we came up first. Read our website, visited, stayed.

What gets people in the door of a Presbyterian church, if that’s not the tradition they grew up in? I’m a cradle presby so this is pretty much all I’ve know my entire life.

Twice now I've been turned down for a call because I'm too similar to the senior pastor and apparently mid-40s guy with teenagers and younger kids can't relate to young adults/families. #MakeItMakeSense

To treat one Sunday as if it carries greater spiritual significance isn't to honor the resurrection more, but to misunderstand how God has appointed it to be remembered. What many people concentrate into an annual remembrance, God has distributed to every Lord's Day of the year

As an ARP, I'm so thankful we don't have to deal with 50-60 Memorials every year! #IYKYK

Take a sabbatical if offered and if you want to. Don't take a sabbatical if you don't want to. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

@crwiley1962 I’m seeing a great deal of debate about the article put out today regarding AI. What is your take on this article?

I understand why my literary friends hold out hope that AI will prove to be a fad, or a bubble. But it’s wanhope, I’m afraid. I’ve been researching and working in this space for approximately two years, and I’m confident that AI will change everything. Everyone that I personally know in tech believes the same. Debate is mostly about timelines and whether current technology can scale, or whether or not it will need to be supplemented with something new.

“And let those who are not found living as Jesus taught, be understood to be no Christians, even though they profess with the lip the teachings of Christ; for not those who make profession, but those who do the works, shall be saved.” --Justin Martyr

Dear PCA People Talking About Women Deacons, We are not a part of your conversation so don't cite us as examples pro/con. Our situation is not your situation. Thanks. Sincerely, The ARP and the RPCNA

@DutchPresby @NickQuient Confessionally, my only difficulty with that is two-fold. First, as WCF VII. VI makes clear, baptism is a NT sacrament (as opposed to an OT) and, in XXVIII.I, as part of the definition for baptism, as a sign and seal of a remission of sin, the proof text used is Mark 1:4 (John’s)

Thank you, Dr Taylor. I think there should always be an asterisk because of the different administrations of the covenant of grace. (WLC 33-35). John, the greatest OT Prophet (Mt 11:11) administered the sacrament as a shadow in hope whereas the Apostles administered it retrospective of the reality accomplished and applied.

Baptism is excellent and you should imitate Christ and be baptized. It also doesn't save you. 😇

@NickQuient You think the baptism of John is the same as Christ’s commanded sacrament of initiation for the church?

@DutchPresby @NickQuient describing him as the victim accepted of the Father, the propitiation of righteousness, and the author of salvation. What could the apostles add to this confession? Wherefore, let no one be perplexed because ancient writers labour to distinguish the one from the other.
