Disappointed in @Qantas. Had to delay our flights home to Victoria because of State of Disaster being issued, no leniency on their fare terms. I would have expected that given the current developing situation they might have some understanding. Nope.

Just ticked over 8 years of working from anywhere. In that time I've lived in Sydney, SF, Stockholm & Mallorca. Mostly working from home, sometimes using co-working spaces. Just calculated I've saved about 2,000 hours from not having to do soul-sucking commutes. Never used an alarm. Visited the gym at non-peak times. Not a flex but more a message that this is possible for anyone. I'm not special. Stared by convincing an old boss to let me "test" WFA. That gave me a talking point to land my first fully remote job. Never looked back. Transitioned to freelance + building online. Best move I ever made for both health and career.

Just purchased a new iPhone 14 Pro. DOA. Support is doing their best, but damn.. their process is not flexible at all if you live outside of major city. Over the last 15 years I've had no problems with @AppleSupport or their hardware, but perhaps back to Android now?
