Have we ever stopped to think that some of these people do not give a flying fuck about being an example for you or anyone else’s kids ?
Dan Clark@DanClarkSports
Jazz Chisholm is an attention-seeking idiot. His stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Not only is this terribly dangerous for himself, he is setting an atrocious example for young kids watching.

@Oweempic @Bighugh53 Look man, as a lifelong Yankee diehard - I get and don’t mind the general hate that comes with it but people were fucking weirdos about Jazz when he was on the Marlins too lol
English

@boroughbrain @Bighugh53 To be honest, once a player becomes a yankee, he’s open game for every kind of criticism.

I've been debating this since last night. On the one hand, there are players who have an oral fixation. They chew tobacco, eat sunflower seeds, hold a toothpick in their mouth. But, those actions are habitual, almost second nature, and they take no focus away from the game.
Jazz, on the other hand, doesn't always eat lollipops. In just this game, he decided to have one. And, putting aside any interference it may cause with his play (for example, his ability to call for a pop up), his attention to eating it seemed to be a distraction itself.
The bottom line is this was a terrible optic from a player who has had concentration issues in the past, and it feeds into the notion that the Yankees are a very casual team without much discipline.
Talkin' Yanks@TalkinYanks
Jazz Chisholm Jr. is playing second base with a blow pop in his mouth
English

@TalkinYanks Dock Ellis pitched a no-hitter on acid, the ‘86 Mets won it all coked out of their minds, and Mickey Mantle was downing beers in the clubhouse in between innings- I truly do not give a shit about a lollipop lmao
English

@DanClarkSports Yeah George Steinbrenner - who famously didn’t get banned from MLB while Stick Michael scouted the Core Four and built the 90s/00s Dynasty in his absence lmao
English

@boroughbrain @JCColtin Hey retard, that’s a terrible comparison
This is more like when people say “I’m not gonna thank specific people because i know I’ll be forgetting somebody” but it’s even worse because it’s less than a handful of name that she had to remember
English

@gldivittorio @JCColtin Sorry **citywide office as Comptroller but nonetheless- clearly has his own strong and unique political brand that differs wildly from Claire and Darializa
English

Agreed- lol I love how this framing is ignoring how far ahead Brad is in polling, was Council Member for years in that area, held statewide office, campaigned publicly and proudly with the popular sitting mayor, and this is the best version of the story oppo could scrape up? Guess she hates Aber too

English

@RobertAnthony_T @TalkinYanks I can’t believe Trump let’s you watch him and Elon raw dog it.
English

@TalkinYanks I can't believe there are people who think Jazz doing this shit is perfectly fine. They truly are lost.
English

@SiannaDit @AtlantisFell What the fuck are you on about? Jace dies during the Battle of the Gullet in both the book and the show?
English

@boroughbrain @AtlantisFell Do you understand how historical accounts work? Nobody speculates fixed historical events like the death of Jacaerys. You can’t just kill him earlier because "it was just speculation anyway" that is the most braindead take in the history of braindead takes.
English

@justmewatchinu @AtlantisFell This is literally most of F&B. It’s like the fact that they offer like 5 different reasons why / how / who was involved in Maegor the Cruel just kind of dying. The same with Aegon II lol.

English

@justmewatchinu @AtlantisFell Maybe GGRM should’ve written an actual narrative rather than a few collections of differing accounts from Maesters, Historians, and literal FOOLS as the main detailers of the story lmfao

House Of The Dragon Season 3's Battle Of The Gullet Is Impressive – But It Has A Huge Issue;
Battle of the Gullet in House of the Dragon Season 3 as technically ambitious and visually stunning — one of the most impressive large-scale battles in the entire Game of Thrones franchise, featuring massive naval clashes, dragon involvement (including Rhaena riding Sheepstealer), and a personal grudge match between Corlys Velaryon and Sharako Lohar.
However, it criticizes the sequence for being all spectacle and no substance: it lacks real tension, emotional stakes, or meaningful character moments. The death of Prince Jacaerys (Jace) lands with little impact because the audience isn’t deeply invested in him, and the battle feels more like a flashy set piece than a narratively satisfying turning point compared to past GoT battles like Hardhome or the Battle of the Bastards. Overall, the piece calls it a Pyrrhic victory that looks incredible but fails to deliver the depth or heartbreak fans expected from the source material.

Cannot and will not defend Fishfeed being offscreen.
I wasn't looking for a full-blown battle sequence but I do wish they would have given us a bit more
Winter Wolves are cool though

@Matif011 @AtlantisFell Yes GRRM who famously the last two books of ASOIAF , never gave plot points to the showrunners of GoT, never let everything happen without protest, and then everyone loved the last few seasons he guided along?
English

@boroughbrain @AtlantisFell Fuck off bitch
Grrm is the god of this world
