Esco a 3 year old XL Bully was retaken from his police approved kennels to a vet for the 2nd time and euthanised because he was in so much pain. It took the police 7 days to tell his family. In 2023. Marshall and Millions were shot dead. Again prompting national outrage. In 2023. Reefaa n 11 year old and poorly dog in need of an emergency operation and on insulin was still seized and held in kennels. Over a couple of days she started to decline and was rushed to an emergency vets who said no more could be done to save her. She was put to sleep without her family being notified until later that day. These are just a few of the horror stories of dogs needlessly dying because the dangerous dogs act is so badly written with very little guidance on instruction for the police or because of poor police training in equipment they are issued.
