@ChequyLion Book Rhaenyra imprisoned Alicent unlike show one who is asking how to rule from Alicent. Rhaenyra never acted against corlys till the tumbleton. Infact she acted on many of corlys advises instead of Daemon.

There is literally no reason for Rhaenyra to deny Corlys's pleadings, given that Joffrey is the heir to the Iron Throne, unless she is planning to appoint Baela or Rhaena as the heir to Driftmark. But that is not the case. It's a perfect example of bad writing. #Houseofthedragon

Written by Sara hess. Changing things that were vague in the book Fire & Blood is one thing, but changing public events and established facts is another. Rhaenyra legitimized Addam and Alyn Velaryon, making Addam the heir. This was a fact in the book, not a rumor. #HOTD

Sheepstealer is "uncontrollable" because he's wild and "causes" Jace death to justify the degradation of Rhaena for years to cause unnecessary drama. Coryls is denied his plea to make Rhaenyra look like a hypocrite to cause unnecessary drama. None of this is in the books btw.

@rogueluvs They could have easily accomodated one of the few ommited big battles like battle of Lakeshore to Ep 3, instead they filled the episode with novice drama.

@brightflame1998 This is written by Sept Eustace, who favoured Aegon. Also munkun too wrote same thing about that. There were two narrators and both agreed that Alicent said so. Also I always care about book.

It looks like instead of Alicent saying, 'Bastard blood shed at war,' we will see Corlys giving a lecture on bastard children. In the book, however, Rhaenyra legtimized Addam/Alyn, appointed Addam the heir to Driftmark bypassing Joffrey even when Jace was alive. #Houseofthedragon
