@gggiants Yeah, that’s one I don’t understand why Giants didn’t re-sign him. He’s a natural 1st Baseman. If Devers DH’s Smith can play 1st & vis versa. I’d rather have Smith at 1st & batting vs Schmitt (& I like Schmitt).

@susanslusser Even though I do like Schmitt, if the Giants were going to use him at 1B in platoon, I would have I like if Giants had re-signed Dominc Smith to play 1B vs Schmitt or even Encarnacion. 🤷‍♂️
