My daughter was socially transitioned at school through the SEL program. It took me years to get her completely out of that cult. When this started 5 yrs ago, there was no help for me. So I created the program that I needed to free her. Last Saturday, she was given a dozen awards for her work in the JROTC program. She’s got scholarships to college. She’s got a job. She’s in control of her own life. She is free. We still have problems. But they’re normal problems. Not some imaginary identity bs. We disagree, we talk, we accept each other’s opinions. We work through our differences TOGETHER with boundaries, respect, and understanding. I’d love it if she’d just do everything I say, but then she wouldn’t be herself. I can hardly blame her. She comes by her fierce and steadfast independence honestly. She is, after all, her mother’s savage daughter. And I love who she’s become. The trans cult hates that. They try to separate families. They use any advantage or disadvantage to ruin the relationships between parents and their children. They tried to destroy us…. they failed.

A case of Chapoutier Chateauneuf du Pape Barbe Rac 2012 has mysteriously turned up on my doorstep. My name is on the label as consignee, so it is not a mistake. I have opened a bottle. My goodness, it is good. From a friend or "shadowy, far-right" benefactor? I shall find out.

@coachblade Or, as I suggested as a possibility last night, she may be deeply and unreasonably stupid. There is always that and it should not be discounted without proper consideration.

BAFFLING There can be only two possibilities: 1. Rapinoe sincerely believes that males competing against females in sport is safe & fair; revealing a weird denial of her real-life experience as a female player ⚽️. (She was trounced by teenaged boys in a scrimmage.) OR 2. Rapinoe is getting some sort of remuneration to advocate against the interests of women & girls in sports; revealing a depth of depravity so extreme as to portend a devastating ROI for her benefactors. Either way her stance is “Legend-defeating.” She could have been a hero. What a waste for all concerned. 😥 #Pitiful

OUT OF BOUNDS: Megan Rapinoe slams the new IOC policy limiting women’s events to biological females based on sex testing. "This committee is framing it as based in science, which it’s not," she said. "This will ultimately just prevent people from competing within the women’s category that they feel like they have an unfair advantage. It’s just really hateful."

Can anyone recommend me a good book either about or set in medieval Europe? Alternate history, non-fiction, and historical fiction are all welcome. I get these obsessions with different historical periods, and right now I’m stuck in the Middle Ages, having already explored WWII, the USSR under Stalin and into the Kruschev thaw, the American Civil War, and the Russian revolution. I know that’s not a long list, but I’ve read fairly exhaustively on each subject over the course of three or four years. I’d appreciate any suggestions, including books written in the medieval period, provided there’s an English translation.

@RupertLowe10 For almost 25 years I worked for DWP, or its equivalents, and my job was to safeguard the public purse. It is reasonable to say that if you work for the HO, your job should be to safeguard our borders.

We need mass sackings at the Home Office. Fill it with patriots who believe in secure borders, the rule of law and mass deportations.

The best case against Labour’s proposed “Islamophobia” definition is how their MPs reacted to Nick Timothy and Nigel Farage. They’ll claim free speech won’t be threatened whilst calling for Nick to be sacked.

Iran executed the 19-year-old champion, Saleh Mohammadi for protesting the Khamenei regime. Nothing from Greta Thunberg, Gary Lineker, Charlotte Church, sectarian Muslim politicians. No hunger strikes on University campuses. Where have all the “human rights” activists gone?

Dr Dr P: 'Gender dysphoria' is false
Hello all. I've just started watching 'Person of Interest' on Netflix. Is it safe? Are there any transvestites/Queer/'TQs+' in it? Because if there are, I won't bother. (Thanks in advance, everyone).

@datadriven_tdoc @BillboardChris Just because someone may 'pass', looking like the opposite sex, doesn't make it so. Celebrate that a man looks like a woman all you want, but never forget that they are a man

As much as @BillboardChris would prefer otherwise, the average person with a working set of eyes and a reasonable amount of sense, knows, that in spite of gametes and chromosomes, there is something about her that makes her an exceedingly poor fit for the category of “man” Which is why most people see this behaviour as mean-spirited, and precisely that kind of behaviour that will turn people away over time from the GC cause

@Rob_ThaBuilder I've always struggled with the death penalty tbf, but maybe that's because I've grown up and seen many miscarriages of justice 🤷‍♀️ DNA was a game changer but unfortunately we've also seen perversion of justice in other ways too 😢

The Heretical Liberal 🇨🇦
The Heretical Liberal 🇨🇦@Rob_ThaBuilder·
It is interesting how when you realize the truth on one issue, it can change have ripple effects on many of your other positions on issues. Up until about 3-4 years ago, I held pretty consensus liberal beliefs on just about every issue. I was comfortable in my tribalism. The trans issue shattered that comfort and it was the first issue that I "broke" on. The cognitive dissonance between what I was expected believe and my own values was too great. I still consider myself left-of-centre (altho I describe myself more of a "classical liberal" and at the moment have more in common with a moderate righty than a standard lib) but once you get to that headspace, where you can full throatedly reject something on your own side, it completely opens your mind on many other, unrelated ones. I guess once you identify the flaw in thinking on one issue, its much easier to identify it on other ones. I now think DEI is the primary cause if racial division in our society, that immigration policy is absolutely insane, that abortion is a complex issue involving competing rights (altho im still pro-choice, im more of an anti-abortion pro choice, if tbat makes sense) etc etc. And without even realizjng when this happened, Im now firmly in favor of the death penalty. I do think it should be saved for cases where tbere us absolutely no doubt of guilt, no remorse and no possibility for rehabilitation, but society desperately needs it. When you remove the rose-colored liberal goggles, you realize that civilozation and social order is both precious a d fragile, and some ppl are just irredeemably evil, and their presence in our society will constantly undermine order and public trust. We dont often notice these shifts in our thinking happening in real time, but its interesting once in a while when you take stock of what your beliefs are and realize they've changed quite a bit without you even noticing.

I do not think killing, or even torturing, (say) serial killers is horrifying at all. The large majority of people, when asked well-framed honest questions, just reallllly do not care much about this. If the pain of a serial killer affects you at all, you are not only evil, but also weak prey.* *I am learning to write like a lib
