There’s a disease in the Roblox dev community: It’s called victim mindset. “My game didn’t succeed bc of the new update” “If only this dev didn’t fuck me over” “His game did good only bc a YouTuber played it” Ngmi.

Been working on a customizable backpack system, and was thinking about releasing it. What do y'all think?

For one of our brand new games we just launched I have spent $370 on ads and we only have 70 out of 500, despite having 30k+ visits. The average dev is genuinely cooked 💀

What Roblox systems do people actually want right now? I feel like RNG has its lifespan like everything else.

@TizzzyRBLX Yeah dude, playing games now is double edged. I can see through the facades of game dev, and genuinley feel like "I could make that" everytime I play a new game 😅

Anyone else find it difficult to want to play games when you can just make them? Ever since I started learning game dev, I’d rather spend free time working on my game than playing someone else’s. Still love gaming tho

I'm starting to realize my coding style is probably a sign I have some kind of OCD. I always organize my variables and statements in pyramid shapes either by the length of the line, or alphanumerically, or both. I also put padding around statements where a new stack opens.
