Harder trophy to win than the World Cup.
Nowadays, people reach the World Cup final by beating Cape Verde, Egypt, and Switzerland.

@Oo_mArtii @Mo_LM10_ @YashRMFC Switzerland, Austria, Algeria, Norway / England are literally more solid than any of Portugal opponent’s except Croatia lmao.
We thought Euro’s is harder and that’s the road you can get by finishing 3rd in the group?
Sure mate🤣🤣🤣

@cfcR_J @EduardoHagn Jude can do everything Pedri does. The reverse can't be said
English

Unpopular opinion but Jude Bellingham is superior.

Why some big Real Madrid figures would want Pedri at Madrid.
Bacuse your club has no one that can do his job
English

@its_posterboy @Bri_an2 Lamine would win every EUROs he plays in his career if they just finish 3rd on group every time on purpose and get such roads with 3rd place finish in the group🤣🤣🤣

English

So Lamine surpassed your international legacy at 16?

English

@OlayodeJonathan @tobyasky @filbenny All the big teams and clubs are favoured subconsciously lmao.
Otherwise Ronaldo would have 0 UCLs with Real Madrid without all those controversies lmao
English

You went to secondary school
You even graduated from university
Let's stop here even if I know many of you have Masters degrees and Doctorates.
You watched these performances and said they rigged it. The performance against Netherlands, the perfect assist to Molina after wiggling through a crowd, the way he beat Gvardiol against Croatia, the masterclass against Australia, the way he took the bull by the horn against Mexico when they were on the verge of elimination.
You saw all of these things with your two eyes, and you're part of the people pushing agenda that it was rigged. You should question your qualifications.
if not for that Lautaro, France won't even get to penalties.

Both Deschamps and De La Fuente have said this btw, and it’s genuinely common sense. The outcry was baffling beyond belief.
All About Argentina 🛎🇦🇷@AlbicelesteTalk
🚨 Luis de la Fuente: “I honestly don't understand why you ask me about the controversy surrounding the referee in the Argentina vs. Egypt match. Where did that even come from? I watched the game and I thought the referee got everything right. I’d actually like to congratulate him because every decision he made was spot on.” @DAZN_ES 🇦🇷🇪🇬

@Stiff_FC Since they have been doing it for decades.
You might give us well plenty of evidence?

@Stiff_FC @TheMasterBucks Such a bad take. Typical from you.
Anyone with a brain that watched the whole PL season, can see the favouritism that Arsenal received consistently
0 Red Cards and 0 Penalties for opponents. First time in history. Clear evidence. PGMOL title. Tainted
Hope this helps🤣🫵🏻

People really hate Messi more than actual evil people that exist today simply because he kicks a ball better than their favourite player.
ACERVO@AcervoCharts
Argentina e Messi são o país e a pessoa mais odiados do mundo atualmente.

For years, football fans were sold the image of Lionel Messi as the untouchable GOAT… a player whose success was supposedly built solely on extraordinary talent.
I don't see it that way.
The Negreira case cast a lasting shadow over Barcelona's greatest era. Whether it directly influenced results or not, it raised questions that can never be completely dismissed.
Then there's the Ballon d'Or. In my view, the criteria changed depending on what benefited Messi. Individual performances mattered in 2010, collective success mattered in 2023, and several awards particularly 2019, 2021 and 2023 remain highly controversial. I believe he deserved 2011, 2012 and 2015, but not every Ballon d'Or he received.
His international legacy is debated too. Before 2021, many Argentina fans called him a choker. Afterward, following repeated Copa América tournaments, controversial refereeing debates and Argentina's World Cup triumph, the narrative changed completely.
None of this means Messi wasn't a genius. He absolutely was.
But for me, his legacy will always be inseparable from the Negreira scandal, disputed refereeing decisions, inconsistent award criteria and a football system that, in my opinion, often favoured him.
That's why I'll never consider him the greatest of all time.
