BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH BULL RUNS TO KNOW.

Thousands of stocks and ETFs. Now live for all U.S. traders on Coinbase Advanced. → 24/5, $0 commission → TradingView charts → Buy fractional shares with USDC Plus, earn up to 3.5% in USDC on your trading balance with Coinbase One.

Pre-IPO perps on Coinbase open up access to get exposure to early price discovery on top companies. SpaceX was the first. Anthropic and OpenAI are up next.

AI Agents can now use Coinbase. Marking the start of a new era for agentic finance. Agents now have the ultimate platform to trade, manage portfolios and execute strategies. Simply plug in your agent using Claude or ChatGPT, set guardrails, and let it run. Coinbase for Agents - available now.

🧵 Coinbase and AWS just pushed x402 into the spotlight. Websites and APIs running on @awscloud CloudFront and WAF can now accept payments directly from AI agents through x402. Most people are focusing on @coinbase But one blockchain may already be better positioned than many realize: @Algorand 👇 x402 transforms the old HTTP 402 “Payment Required” status code into a native payment layer for the internet. Instead of subscriptions, accounts or credit cards, AI agents can pay for data, services and API calls in real time. Machine-to-machine commerce is no longer theoretical. It is being built today. What many investors may have missed is that Algorand has already completed full integration across the x402 stack. The specification was merged with Coinbase. The Facilitator is live through @GoPlausible Bazaar is running. The tooling is ready. This means developers can already build pay-per-API services, micropayments, machine-to-machine payments and agentic commerce on Algorand. Why does that matter? Because AI agents require a very specific type of payment infrastructure. Transactions must be fast. Settlement must be final. Fees must be extremely low. Otherwise paying fractions of a cent for thousands of API requests becomes impractical. This is where @AlgoFoundation starts to stand out. The network provides instant finality, low transaction costs and infrastructure specifically suited for high-frequency machine payments. There is also a technical advantage that deserves more attention. Algorand supports Atomic Grouping. Multiple transactions can be bundled together and either all execute successfully or none execute at all. For machine payments, API access and automated settlement flows, that creates powerful possibilities that many blockchains cannot easily replicate. Another overlooked connection is AWS itself. Algorand node infrastructure is already available through AWS Marketplace, allowing developers to deploy blockchain infrastructure directly inside the AWS ecosystem. At the same time, the network remains broadly distributed. According to Nodely data, only around 8% of Algorand nodes are hosted on AWS, while more than 90% operate across hundreds of independent networks worldwide. Compatibility without dependency. And the story extends beyond Coinbase. Algorand is also listed as an official partner of Google’s Agentic Payments Protocol (AP2). Different protocols. Different organizations. The same direction. Building payment infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. There is another reason why this matters. As AI adoption accelerates, security becomes increasingly important. @Google’s 2026 quantum security paper highlighted Algorand as a real-world example of post-quantum cryptographic development. The paper specifically referenced Algorand’s implementation of post-quantum digital signature technology. Coinbase has also cited Algorand as one of the first blockchain networks actively moving toward post-quantum readiness. Taken individually, none of these developments guarantee success. But together they paint an interesting picture. x402 integration. GoPlausible Facilitator support. Atomic Grouping. AWS deployment infrastructure. Google AP2 participation. Post-quantum cryptography. The future internet may not be built only for humans. It may also be built for machines. And if AI agents become economic actors, they will need payment rails that are fast, cheap, programmable and secure. Algorand appears to be preparing for exactly that future. @Algorand @AlgoFoundation @GoPlausible @coinbase #ALGO
