@UteFanIvan It started as a sci-fi story and then turned into a feel-good plot. It's really 2 diff movies. I enjoyed the second half but it's not a serious sci-fi film. Too much comic relief and friendship storyline. Really enjoyed it but not an all timer IMO.

Project Hail Mary was a beautiful film. Cinematography was great and the CGI was done really well. Also, a huge highlight was the soundtrack. I’m excited to add that one to my collection of things to listen to while I work.
It lost me a little bit in the story especially towards the end, but be that as it may it’s a deep and substantive story about finding purpose as a human being. A purpose being who is in our lives and what we’re willing to do for them. How important those relationships are. 
I would definitely recommend seeing this one in IMAX if you can. 
I don’t really see a comparison to interstellar or arrival or any other sci-fi movies as really the only thing that this has in common with those is that they take place in space.

I don’t think people realize how much healthcare costs are driving big companies to fire and not hire. It costs them $30k per family, per year for premiums and care. Most of that goes to the massive, vertically integrated insurance companies that send weekly bills that no one reviews in details. And it doesn’t include the company overhead to deal with it all. It’s usually the 2nd largest expense after payroll. Which is insane It’s far easier to blame AI than it is to blame Healthcare costs. Want to increase jobs, wages and improve affordability for every American ? Break up the biggest insurance companies. Make divest non insurance companies. They don’t need thousands of subsidiaries. That’s how they game and abuse the system and increase costs for all of us. Call your senator and tell them to support the BreakUp Big Medicine Bill by @HawleyMO and @SenWarren.

All of this is making me think about something. Because the narrative has just been “you pushed out the winningest coach in your programs history” Nobodies asking “Why didn’t the university want Coach Whittingham to stay?” An important question if you ask me. Why the pushback? Just because of commitments to Scalley? I doubt it tbh.
