@eshear What reduces wages is transfer of wealth from workers to rulers. The fewer rights a worker demands, the more rights go to elites. So yea… population growth doesn’t necessarily mean wage reduction if the population corrects the direction of wealth transfer

I might regret this but... Ppl who think immigration reduces wages, do you think all forms of population growth do that? Does having more babies reduce wages too (on an two-decade lag)? Would deporting 10% of the current population therefore increase wages?
