@shl Hey, do you remember when you guys invited a bunch of people to fix open issues on your GitHub app so you could have free software development and you didn’t answer any of them back and didn’t thank any of them for submissions or even acknowledged them? That was really cool

Jobs can be broken up into 3 kinds of tasks: 1. Rote - answering a customer support ticket 2. Linear - updating docs 3. Exponential - improving the product itself Value for the most valuable tasks in the long run are often negative in the beginning, making them hard to prioritize.

Cool release from @p0. I think this use-case (agents paying content creators for access via @mpp) will be very big. Micropayment walls haven't worked (as Clay Shirky anticipated many years ago) because of human cognitive overhead, but agents can make arbitrarily granular determinations without decision fatigue.

some experiments on my new tab page before release: 1. hand tracking (works much better than I thought) 2. proximity tracking (zooms based on your recline) 3. added more feed customization or use channel presets curated by @AREdotNA thx @shl for the inspo

I made a simple new tab page that pulls my @AREdotNA following feed and turns it into an ambient space unfortunately, now every "cmd+T" I get very lost in the sauce. sick for inspiration tho

@shl It seems it'd do a lot of companies a favor if they started presenting to employees more like a professional sports team (@reedhastings model) than a family. That is essentially the operating model in the AI era

@SatyaNaaksh That’s a different problem. I mean it’s much easier to do the requisite research to know whom to part ways with

@shl All you have to say is 'AI IS REPLACING YOU ALL' and then lay off 70% of the employees while making the rest 30% feel safe that you are not kicking them out and making them do the work for the rest of the 70% by forcing them to use AI
