@Cyber_Trailer The "doors are locked" means locked from the outside. The car detected a disturbance and is making it clear that people can't open your car's doors and get in. It doesn't make any sense for them to lock you in the car.

We limit to higher quality videos with distinctive tendencies. This one is particularly useful because it is helping us to inform about the possibility of the passenger completing an emergency exit if the vehicle is about to be struck by a train, etc. In this event, we see that the Waymo struggled through what appears to be a road construction. Then the vehicle pursued a route into cross traffic. prior to correcting. The human drivers did not seem to be confused, this is another situation right on the edge of road rage. The video allowed us to zoom in on the screen to capture some of the interface during the event. It should also be noted that apparently in Dallas, you get a domestic based supervisor at this time (or the situation was immediately escalated to a domestic supervisor.) @Wrecktrooper @niccruzpatane They have exemptions since their fleet is so small. Cars that are exempt (without a steering wheel) are capped at 2,500 per year. Given that Waymo’s fleet is larger than that and the way they’re scaling, they probably didn’t want to cap themselves. 🤷‍♀️

Waymo has released a video of their new 6th-gen robotaxi, Ojai. They’re currently providing driverless rides for employees and their guests in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Customer rides start this summer. • 13 cameras (down from 29 in Gen 5 Jaguars) • 4 lidars (down from 5) • 6 radars • External microphones for sirens • Based on Zeekr platform • 10 individual mini wipers for camera cleaning
