This dynamic pricing in PlayStation store is a mess. I saw Stellar Blade earlier today having a 70% sale from $69.99 to $20.99 and Astro Bot: Digital Deluxe Edition which costed $28.69, I got them both only to find out later that not every user gets the same sale pricing. Checking the PSN store from a web browser without logging in shows totally different pricing; Stellar Blade is $39.99 and Astro Bot is $39.59. This is extremely weird pricing behavior from Sony. If you're going to put a game on sale, make it fair for everyone not just a few gamers.

In the face of Asha Sharma becoming CEO of Microsoft Gaming, I see this question a lot. Why do so many Indians end up as CEOs of companies? As someone who is married to an Indian and spends a lot of time in India, I can help partly explain the phenomenon. A lot of it has to do with the culture in India. Business, Education, Sales and Ambition are 4 key attributes that are engrained in Indian culture. India is a country where seeking affirmation from your family, your peers, the society in general is VERY important. People gossip and are very judgmental in India based on your "status". What sort of job you have, what sort of education you have etc. Even when indians migrate to other countries this permeates through the family unit into their children as well because most indians will still have family back in the homeland and even if they live in the U.S. or the UK etc. they can't ever escape the judgement, comparisons, competiton etc. I know first hand! My wife despite living in NZ is still judged by her family and peers back in India based on her success here. There is also the fact that everything is HYPER COMPETITIVE in India, it has the largest population on Earth so to compete you can't be good you have to be excellent in anything, this instills a drive in indians that you just don't see in other parts of the world for the most part, thats why indians can migrate to anywhere in the world and be successful and once again this flows through into their children even when they move abroad. Now the question for me is, did Asha advocate to become CEO of Microsoft Gaming because she cares about gaming?? or is it because of status? or is it just a default setting in her to have ambition and to move up the ranks of Microsoft because she has been environmentally conditioned to do so? I am sure we will find out in good time.
