@BurritoBrosShit Playing in Portugal this week, have had 4 rounds, every game has been a delight with the random players we have been playing alongside. From a 4 handicap Norwegian to a 25 handicap 79yr old. Just wonderful.

Getting paired with random people is easily the wildest variable in golf and we don’t talk enough about it.

One of the best and most underrated British crime films is Rise of the Footsoldier (2007). It follows the rise and subsequent murders of Pat Tate and Tony Tucker (the so called Rettendon murders) through the eyes of Carlton Leach. Carlton was a football hooligan that turned doorman and hired muscle for some of Britains most notorious gangsters of that era. There is no illusion of the "honourable" gangster, instead it portraits the characters as low impulse control, paranoid and backstabbing characters as they were in real life. Good soundtrack, gruesome violence and lots of suspense in this one.
