Roblox in Vietnam isn't even the same Roblox anymore. If your account location says Vietnam, you get locked into a separate version called Roblox VNG, and you basically can't switch back. >a bunch of the popular games are just blocked >chat is restricted >and now people are watching games disappear, even ones sitting in their Continue tab Support won't change your region either, so you're just stuck there. Change the region outside of Vietnam while you can. Whose fault is this, Roblox or VNG?

@MissMe247o I feel lucky when that version appear (bc Roblox was banned in Vietnam on 2024 then they have to cooperate with VNG), and both hate by how VNG is doing to Roblox.

@WesFluffRBLX you have to wait for VNG (Roblox's publisher here) license your game, or wait until it got unbanned somehow

[OOC] UPDATE: It seems that there are reports saying that the game is geo-blocked in Vietnam. Global and VNG accounts are unable to access the game. You have to use a VPN to be able to access the game for now. - 💼🩹

@awigihhgowh @nhan_tnt they don't have PC version, but if your account moved to VNG on Android/iOS version, that global PC version will be effected by whatever VNG does

@nhan_tnt is there a separate installer on PC for Roblox VNG ? . I have an installer that i got from 2025 before VNG started restricting games . So maybe any account within viet nam is restricted ?

1. Roblox VNG has existed for years now.
2. You can still use the International version, but if you ever log in into VNG you are fucked.
3. Vietnames e laws forbid games from releasing without licenses and a local publisher.

To all Roblox devs, we have *some* information regarding the recent ban waves from Vietnamese account.
So we would like to gather all information in one place and avoid miscommunication
🟢Facts
1. The Roblox VNG client is not new. It has been like for years
2. The recent ban waves is “partly” not VNG’s fault but rather the licensing requirements.
All games in Vietnam must have either G1, G2, G3 or G4
For Roblox, it is mostly likely that they need at least a G2 for EACH game.
So it is most likely NOT because your games are too violent cause games about selling lemons are also being hidden.
🔵Theories
It is not a permanent ban, but rather a temporary one. In the meantime, VNG is trying to get each game licensed
❔Questions
“Why don’t they do the licensing thing in the first place?”
→ nobody knows. At least we have not found a single reliable source about this.

@Chiliation most of the games are getting unbanned, but the one contain war, battle, fight, using weapons, kill,..etc.. remain banned (and pls donate too)
