Roblox in Vietnam now uses a separate version called Roblox VNG. 🇻🇳 Players with Vietnamese accounts have restricted chat and can’t access many popular games. Why do you think it happened?

5. a little funny things: For people in Vietnam, VTV (Vietnam Television) has previously reported on the warning about “Brainrot” being harmful to children, but how did Roblox VNG license the game “Steal a Brainrot”. I dont understand why they do that?

Honestly I'd like say that this is basically nothing but affect players experience. Honestly... on here, the website hasn't yet to fix its basic HTML display, and then they are doing anything but actually fix the website alongside with censoring all stuff.

@oracheese @Sillycrepes about why are they banning/blocking these games it's mainly because these games haven't been licensed for release in Vietnam, something VNG - the publisher of Roblox here - should have done a long time ago. I have a list of games that already have it.

Roblox in Vietnam isn't even the same Roblox anymore. If your account location says Vietnam, you get locked into a separate version called Roblox VNG, and you basically can't switch back. >a bunch of the popular games are just blocked >chat is restricted >and now people are watching games disappear, even ones sitting in their Continue tab Support won't change your region either, so you're just stuck there. Change the region outside of Vietnam while you can. Whose fault is this, Roblox or VNG?

@PRUSHER_DEV Games here are required to have a publishing license. We can only wait until VNG (official publisher of Roblox here) has obtained a publishing license (currently, only about 150 games have licenses, most of them are obby games)

@d5vid_ That is due to Vietnamese law. We require games to have a license before they can be released. And because that, VNG (Roblox publisher here) have to hide many games. They have only obtained licenses for about 150 games so far.

is anyone hearing of players in Vietnam not being able to play their game? getting lots of reports that Run a Restaurant is suddenly not available in Vietnam as of 30 minutes ago, along with a handful of other games. anyone have info?
