It's called St Cuthbert's Day. We celebrated it every year at school. The flag bears his cross. He was so revered by King Æthelstan, the founder of our Kingdom, that the king made a pilgrimage to Durham to honour him. Renaming it "Durham Day" erases our history.

⚠️BREAKING: *UK 10-YEAR YIELDS RISE ABOVE 5% FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2008 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Cllr Mike Bannister speaks against the Green Party’s unsuccessful motion to remove Cllr George Finch as Leader of Warwickshire County Council.

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.

I'm still gobsmacked at how a FIRE SERVICE got to this point.
