I’m in the exact same situation. In south fl right now the housing market is still hot so inventory is low and houses sell fast. Ultimately the idea of having a home that fits me better in a more desirable area still seems the way to go. After all, your stuck w the home, not rate.

The real estate market is broken with mortgage rates above 6%. I was looking at houses and moving ... but when you do the math, it is crazy to give up my 3.9% mortgage and move to another area and do a 6.3% mortgage. But then if I wait until rates are back near 4%, house prices will likely skyrocket with cheaper money. Tough decision ...

When I first started reading “Animal Farm”, after finding it in the elementary school library when I was about 8 years old, I thought it would be a nice story about talking animals. But the narrative didn’t quite go like other stories about talking animals I had read 😳 I didn’t realize it was an allegory about the Russian communist revolution. The book made a lot more sense reading it again several years later 😂

When I first read 1984, it was not only like a light going off in my brain. It produced a strain in my stomach and a rage in my heart that has never gone away.
