@BeaneaterB The first west coast road trips have been rough the past two years. They lost 5 of 6 in 2024 against the Mariners and the Dodgers, and we all remember what happened last year.

Turning this into a 4-3 roadtrip after losing 3 in a row is really solid work. Really solid win all the way around today.

Way too early Braves prospect update on John Gil 18 PA .286/.444/.500 .450 wOBA 179 wRC+ 22.2% BB 16.7% K The power might finally be showing up. If he keeps his typical plate discipline and carries a .475+ SLG, he’s a top 50 prospect in baseball.

@eramospr @CrosbyBaseball Hernandez is up there too. Absolutely insane stuff, just needs to find better control. 2800 RPM sliders and a 2500/21 IVB four seam fastball.

@CrosbyBaseball Jeremy Reyes, probably our most underrated pitching prospect IMO. Augusta and Rome lineups are so much fun to watch, I find myself going back and forth between both games.

Conor Essenburg saw a team high 32 pitches Went 3-for-6 with 2 walks Had exit velocities of 106, and 110 MPH. He's my early star for the season. Well ahead of where I expected him to be at this point of his career. Recognizes breaking pitches and doesn't expand. Great power.

Have been told by multiple people you don't want to mess with Walt Weiss. He got into a legit scuffle with a well known player in the clubhouse a few years ago. That tackle tonight was awesome
