@sregg My favourite is the State of React Native, the Polish company Software Mansion reused the open source core we developed for the State of JS/CSS/HTML at Devographics to produce this new surveys and they still run it to this day 🔥 Kudos from France

@sebastienlorber @leerob Sitemaps are more verbose, and may include irrelevant marketing pages, since you optimize it for SEO first The heading hierarchy is definitely useful to LLMs but may also be useful for document ingestion as metadata I think having MDX is tolerable if component names are explicit

@ericbureltech @leerob How do you convert MDX to MD? Couldn't sitemaps.xml also expose the source docs? Is the markdown heading hierarchy useful for LLMs to consume?

vercel.​com/docs/llms.txt is now live 🤖 We also have the full version if you want to read a 400,000 word novel. This also means you can drop .md on the end of any docs link.

@sebastienlorber @leerob Last time I've tried to ingest Next.js doc it was not super good, because of leftover scripts and other issues (ericburel.tech/blog/teaching-…) So the .md versions are definitely a blessing, and the llms.txt index would be easier to consume than a sitemap and less prone to SSRF

@leerob Curious, how do you handle it if you use React comps in MDX? Aren't you using MDX? (.md extension)
