2026 New Year's Resolutions: 1) Finish what I started with weight loss. I was 5 pounds short of my (arbitrary) goal last year, but still lost 25 pounds. This year, my goal is to drop another 15 pounds, which will be my target permanent weight. 2) Read DC Comics issue per day. I have a bunch of the DC Finest collections, from 1940s-1990s and want to get through them. 3) Finish 6 more novels with my son. We both do a lot of reading on our own, so these will likely be audiobooks in the car. 4) Continue to nurture and encourage my son's musical pursuits. 5) Wrap up reading the Old Testament (New American Standard), then start over and read the 1611 King James Version start to finish. Probably won't finish the entire KJV this year, but I'll read at least one chapter a day. 6) My gaming goals are a bit more targeted this year. I want to finish all of my NES, GB/GBC, GCN, CD-i, TurboGrafx-16, and Virtual Boy games. Most of those are short, but there are a ton of them. I'm also going to play the rest of the Working Designs games I haven't played yet, across various platforms. Altogether, it'll be about 125 games, but like 100 of them are only a few hours long, if that.

@Peoples_Pundit I would be in that category. I have been MAGA since day one, wore the hat every time I left the house, even in Washington state. I haven't touched the hat since we got dragged into Israel's war with Iran. I'm America First, America Only.

"MAGA" identification lost to "America First" again tonight. It was closer than the average, but... "America First" has ranged from 53% (this is near that low) to a high of 61%. MAGA has ranged from a low of 39% to a high of 47%. MAGA used to consistently lead in periodic asks. Now we're tracking it from this point forward to see the direction of the movement. They can have very different views.

So... Israel did a dumb thing, that led to Iran counterattacking. Now of Iran attacks back, we blow them up? How about you tell Israel if they do something stupid like that again, we'll target them? Stop letting Israel drive our foreign policy. It makes the administration look incredibly weak.

I voted Trump 3 times, never voted for a Democrat in my life. I have a MAGA hat that I used to wear every time I left the house. I haven't put it on once since the war with Iran started.
