Return flight from New Zealand cancelled yesterday due to high winds. Spent an hour on the phone with @FlyAirNZ. “Impossible to get you home before the 29th.” Daughter in Seattle hears the news and says “Gimme five minutes.” Less than 24 hrs later, we’re boarding @Qantas home. 🙃

@RivianUpdates I'd take this center display over our current version. Really wish the speed was more prominent. I'm probably the only one, but I question the actionable value of the "traffic" display. What's it telling me that I need to know and can't see out my window/mirror?

Important point in Steve's article: "... many students wind up paying less than they would to attend a public university. The average federal student loan debt for Bates students who earned their degree in 2022, for example, was $13,531, less than half the national average."

Low-income families wind up paying far less at places like @BatesCollege than they would to attend public universities that appear cheaper. I saw it firsthand when my son went to Bates & daughter to Middlebury. We could pay essentially nothing, yet my kids graduated with no debt.
