@EamonRyan Hi Eamon, Lovely video. I love Inishbofin too but each year it seems there is more and more cars on the island. Wouldn’t it be great if the number of cars were reduced by half and only allow electric ones on the island. Old Nissan Leafs would be the job.

It’s an island with few cars, which can’t drive fast, making it a cycling paradise. You see lots of parents follow along as their children cycle for the first time and I still love the downhill stretch, past Colman’s Monastic site towards Duach beach. #Inishbofin #WildAtlanticWay

@gardainfo What’s to Pilot, electric bikes have been around for years. Every Garda station should have 10-20 of these ASAP.

Six electric bicycles are now in use by Dublin City Centre Gardaí as part of a pilot initiative. Gardaí will now be able to cover larger areas for longer periods & increase our ability to provide assistance while in congested areas to help keep people safe. #KeepingPeopleSafe
