MEPs got to vote on the appointment of the European Commission which had clearly stated that it would support MERCOSUR. Independent Ireland's Ciaran Mullooly did not vote against their appointment. Their party's MEP had a parachute and didn't pull the chord. Why?

Shocking error from Michael Clarke on @skynews just now. Israel's 1982 invasion of Lebanon wasn't to take out Hezbollah as he claimed. It was to remove Lebanon's government. Hezbollah didn't exist at that time. It emerged in response to that invasion.

I've just questioned Commissioner for Health and Animal Welfare on the control of pesticides. Will the commission have the resources to properly assess imports from trade deals like MERCOSUR.

Paid for those that buy bags of coal one bag at a time because they can't afford any more. Carbon tax is a tax on the poor to subsidise the rich.

Trans people are used to being at the bottom of the league. The reality is just 1% of the population considers trans folk a "top issue' - that 1% is us & our families, who see & feel the discrimination we face daily. One day, politicians will see us as people..not an "issue."
