@PeterMilobar Taking ownership rights from property owners today is just as wrong as stealing ownership rights from indigenous people 150 years ago.. BC government did the stealing last century then BC government should pay. Not private property owners..

We need to restore confidence in Private Property rights. A full repeal of DRIPA with a forward looking framework that will respect indigenous and non-indigenous rights built on previous Supreme Court rulings that have laid out what is deemed to be proper consultation is the way.

Let's be clear. David Eby is cornered in a trap of his own making. He created the mess. He owns it. Just like the drug crisis. The mental health crisis. The record debt passed on to our children. Collapsing health care. Small businesses closing because of crime and over regulation. Eby and this NDP government own it all. They must go.

David Eby cannot have it both ways. He cannot push to suspend DRIPA for up to three years while calling anyone who wanted it repealed a fear mongerer. That is not leadership. That is spin. If DRIPA is broken enough to suspend, critics were not crazy for warning about it. This is what a government in panic looks like: deny the problem, attack the critics, then admit there is a crisis when it becomes impossible to hide.
